i've uploaded a video that discusses the dramatic jury verdict regarding the abuse suffered by candace conti, of which you are all aware.
if you're not yet familiar with the story for any reason, please check out my blog article on the link below.... http://jwsurvey.org/general-information/the-watchtower-punished-society-loses-legal-battle-over-child-abuse-case.
john hoyle suggested i get a youtube video out fairly quickly so that we can spread the message more effectively online.
Cedars,
Despite those minor flaws, a great script. Fact is, I'd like your permission to loosely use it in essay form for an op-ed to our Arkansas Democrat Gazette. If so, my email is [email protected]. Um --- please note that it is disguised with several digits that need to be removed before it works.
Nugget -- beautifully read.

Hi Chariklo,
Sorry about that. I noticed that tinyurl link on that image was no longer working so I needed to delete the Photobucket image before resubmitting the new one. Unfortunately, that takes several hours before the new image is integrated and working.
Meanwhile, this link should take you to a page of 6 duplicates of that handout on a single page, convenient when you wish to have several handouts in your billfold or purse.

If they call on me I cherish the opportunity to see that that JW can benefit. They will get a small handout that looks like:
When they get home and work up enough courage, they may look up the link at the bottom that takes them to THE GREAT WATCHTOWER CONTRADICTION, an 11 minute read where they can save it to their hard disk, bookmark it for future, etc.
The ones that have called here so far have all promised to get back to me to resolve those above conflicting articles in their own literature. They ask, of course, if it's all right with me to come back. My answer is always "yes, please do".
In the past several years some 5 have done this and I have yet to see a single one return.

with the last service meeting the reading of the local congregation accounts report will be back on the schedule being read from the podium..
That way it won't take long to accrue $28 million to pay off a few debts.
i did a quick cdrom search on this holiday.
there is not a single article that ties this holiday to paganism.
there are a few about mother's day.
Hi dontplaceliterature. That is interesting. It's been some 35 years since my last circuit assembly so I've forgotten things like that.
I did a little search on my own WT Lib CD and you may be surprised at what I found.
As his knowledge of Scriptural truth increased, so did his understanding of birthday celebrations and worldly holidays and Jehovah’s view of them. When this man’s wife organized a social gathering for Father’s Day, he politely refused to attend. She felt, though, that he did not love her anymore and was putting his religion ahead of her and the family. He kindly explained that applying what he was learning from the Bible was helping to transform him into a better husband and father. The Watchtower, 1994, 3/15 p. 8, Jehovah’s Witnesses Around the World--The Bahamas.
True Christians do not need "Mother’s Day," "Father’s Day," "Christmas Day," "Easter Day" or other holidays that are outlined by the world because, while it is true that some persons might in all sincerity give on these occasions out of love, when they become Christians they refrain from having their giving marred by association with any holidays of pagan origin. The Watchtower, 1968 2/15 p. 119 par. 12, Working What Is Good Toward Those in the Faith.
As a footnote, one of my sons -- not a JW -- had me over to his place yesterday for Father's Day and treated me like a king. Great meal which this 49 year old prepared, my choice of movie on his 47" LED flat screen, and best of all -- some bonding that we'd never had as he only recently moved nearby.

Absolutely not. Haven't you heard about new light? Honor thy mother and thy father is so old light. Whose idea was that?
Instead, let's honor our former Watchtower leaders in a dedicated museum space at Bethel such as I've heard -- photographs, documents, and other Memorabilia -- is so fitting. Such grand leaders have had a distinctive place in Jehovah's organizational history, far greater than a lone parent -- mother or father -- as those only are significant to a few children, grandchildren, etc.

there are 1000's who who hate this religion who are stuck ....inside it.
we work against you, we use our position to convince and sway those that still drink your koolaid.
we feed info to authorities who chase you, we warn off potiential converts by directing them to the real truth.
Hey Elderelite,
i'm working on an essay to release to the gazette but want to make sure i have my ducks in a row.. i wonder if someone can point me to a history timeline of watchtower policy as respects treatment of pedophiles, actions of victims and how they cannot divulge identities of offenders to others, phone calls (anonymous) by elders to authorities from public phone booths, etc.. the board understandably is flooded with the latest on the 26 million dollar settlement (it hit our arkansas democrat gazette this morning), so it's kinda tough for me to piece things together in orderly fashion.

Hi hepcat,
Thank you fatfreak, although can I find out who the 83 are? I would be interested.
Check out my original post and that sentence with the blue-colored text. That is a hyperlink. Simply left click it and you will open the document.
Keep in mind that list is one of handles (like hepcat), not their real names. Tom Cabeen uses his name as his handle but that's unusual. If you'd like to communicate with any of them simply copy their handle and look for it under "members" above, where you can PM (private message) them.
